Sharks enjoyed a veritable feast of rugby on the weekend, with the visit of the touring Dunvant on Saturday, and a North Bristol, Sharks, Dunvant triangular on Sunday.
Gordano V North Bristol Sunday 14th April 2013 (Away)
Sharks begun the game with real energy in bog like conditions, and maintained it throughout. Despite the conditions and 9 changes at half-time Sharks handled as if it were a fair weather day in Fiji, and attacked with both flair and precision. North Bristol were unable to compete and despite a slight rally where a very fine try was scored, they were unable to cope with the pace of the game. However, they continued to work hard and showed great attitude and endeavour against an invigorated Sharks team
Final Score;

Gordano V Dunvant Sunday 14th April 2013 (Away)
After the free flowing and excellent performance from Sharks, expectations were high for a repeat against Dunvant. Alas it was not to be, as Dunvant’s restrictive game paid dividends in the quagmire and field position was key. Sharks deserve credit for trusting in their roots and for trying to play running rugby, but the depth of their attack, combined with a cloggy pitch and tenacious Dunvant was destined to be their undoing.
Final Score;
Score Dunvant 20 – Sharks 0
Footnote: North Bristol went on to beat Dunvant by 17 points to 12 with 2 tries from Sharks own George Briggs! Brilliant.
Final result was a win and a loss for all
