Sharks exit the cup with a brave performance against a very good Wells team. Good luck to them in the semi-final. Match report by centre Finn Murphy

The teams objectives today were to keep a fast flowing game with taking risks and giving the ball to someone in a better position then yourself, we knew this team would be physically hard so we had to keep are defence strong and trust our inside man as we drifted along the line.
The teams performance today was a great one and shows great promise for the future games that lie ahead.
We came to a slow start at the beginning of the game as we were under pressure from the kick, we lost the ball from the pressure and although we battled hard to take the ball back, we couldnt, which resulted in the first try for Wells.
As we kicked to Wells everyone was on the line with eager faces, the first tackle chopped the legs but was followed by an offload which was then passed down the line to the winger who ran while beeing hit which gave Wells their second try of the game.
Towards the end of the first half we were begining to have our heads down but team moral brought our sprits up and from a turn over thanks to our forwards Curtis Southey, Harry Wall, Zack Wall, Eddie Tovey, Callum Corcoran, Connor Fairclough, Sam Hodge, Alex Reynolds.
we were able to get it to the backs Sam Ashbee, Sam Fear, Finn Murphy, Shay Ford, Ben Beachman, Harrison Williams, which after hard tackles and good offloads down the line which meant we could get our first try by Finn Murphy, Which was followed by the end of the first half.
The second half after the team talk we all got ready for the kick and kept playing fast flowing rugby with high intensity depth and team support but they came past to score two trys through the middle and one to the wing, but we saved the best for last with two breaks of the line by Lewis Leaker & Sam Fear with support by the forwards which brought us up to their five metres and this is where we played for the rest of the game until the final whisle blew.
The Man of the match goes to Connor Fairclough who played a very well tackling front for the team and tackled the opposition down.
