In freezing conditions, Gordano took the match to a large and intimidating Chew Valley side. Early pressure from Gordano didn't result in any points and then Chew Valley drove upfield for the opening score.
Gordano responded superbly with Scott in the van and he drove over, taking most of the Chew Valley team with him.
In the second half, the cold wind seemed to freeze some of the Gordano players, and a couple of soft tries were conceded. However, the boys all showed great spirit in keeping going to the end.
