Another fine win for Sharks against a solid Bernadettes side.
Sharks were delighted to give Senior debuts to Greg Winmill and Jonathan Ong who both showed promise with a great display of effort and commitment in the back row with Captain John Shaddick at 8.
Sharks started well with some great running rugby which provided Paul Randall with the first of his brace of trys from centre. This was added to shortly after with another fine team score completed by fly half Paul Howe who also attained 5 conversions. Winger Cameron Fryer gained his first try of the new season with an impressive and decisive run from within his own half. This was following some impressive work from scrum half Scott O'Callaghan who was successful in getting himself off of the marks with a first half score of his own.
Second Row Carl Petch was impressive throughout and bulldozed his way over for a second half score from a short penalty. Other players to note with fine performances were props Adam Wells who has recovered well from his recent haircut and Bob Rice. They worked tirelessly with impressive hooker Matt Buttery and lock Simon Woolf. Other fine performances came from backs Rich Wall, Chris Gibbins and Neil Bell who all provided some great defence and offensive creativity.
