Glory in Defeat

Gordano’s talented young team ventured to the Isle of Wight for their annual tour and had a hugely enjoyable time which culminated in a narrow defeat to English South Coast champions Vectis RFC by 7 tries to 3, becoming the first team all season to notch three tries against the Vectis side.

The running rugby, tackling, rucking and scrummaging by Gordano’s smaller but very brave side was a joy to behold.

The tour squad was:
