The game was won in the first 12 minutes with 5 tries from Sharks against a mixed-age group Dursley side. Although they remained resolute throughout, and tackled well the 26 player squad proved too strong with another 6 tries being scored. Dursley did get just reward with the final try of the game, and the game was played in very good spirit with Sharks trying different things, rotating positions and endeavouring to put the ball through the hands.

Fine attacks from Sam Green, George Briggs, Jordan Shaddick and Jacob Evans, supported by excellent defence from Ben Critchley, James Appleby and Hamish Bonar in addition to turn over ball from Pete Atheron kept ensured that chances were created for Sharks.

There were first tries for flankers Ryan Kaye and Connor King and also winger Owen Williams playing only his second game of rugby.

The Sharks should take some pride in the maturity shown in managing the game against less physically developed opponents. They managed to maintain respect whilst reducing intensity in the contact area and pushing the ball wide whenever possible.
