Gordano Sharks 38 Worthing 44

Sharks hosted a touring side from Worthing, West Sussex. Weather conditions were perfect for fast rugby and that’s what happened. The match was close with each side having many scoring opportunities ending in a close victory for Worthing 38-44.

Worthing started off with the first try in the opening minutes. But Gordano went through some good passing phases giving Jordan space to score Shark’s first try. Sharks continued to play their passing game, with some tries scored by Sam Ashbee (2), Shay Ford, Harrison Williams and Alex Reynolds with a try from the kick off.

Lewis Leaker was given man of the match due to some accurate conversions and leading the team well by Worthing. A difficult choice as the whole Shark’s team played well.
