It was blustery with a hint of rain in the air, as Gordano Sharks U16s took to the field at Fortress Caswell Lane to play their last ever games as Juniors.
Dursley turned up with a massive pack but only 14 players, so Gordano loaned them a winger.
The first try came as Skipper Finn Murphy burst clear to touch down with mercurial Lewis Leaker adding the extras.
With the wind behind them, Dursley kicked well and used their strong forwards to muscle their way over twice for a half-time lead of 12-7.
In the second half, Gordano's scrum started to click with Tom Instance, Jack Pope and Curtis 'raging bull' Southey to the fore. Good handling by Callum Corcoran, Zach Wall, Eddie Tovey and Harry Purnell ensured plenty of 'go forward' and the back row of Charlie Geary, Sam Hodge and Connor Fairclough tackled and jackled like demons.
Dursley were now very much on the back foot and Finn Murphy scored two more tries (both converted by Lewis Leaker) following great running by Harrison Topps, Sam Ashbee, Lewis Eaves, Olly O'Hare & Ben Beacham, before Sam Fear raced onto a grubber kick to notch Gordano's fourth try.
Man of the Match was Shay Ford, whose positional play at full back and silky running skills terrorised the away team defense all morning.
