Gordano learn the lessons and come out all guns blazing in the second half to entertain the large crowd at Caswell Lane.

Gordano Sharks U16s team welcomed a well drilled and competitive Bream side to the Lane for their second encounter of the season. Gordano had played newly formed Bream early in the season and looked forward to seeing how they had progressed.

Indeed they had and with good discipline, excellent set piece and good kicking put the home side under lots of early pressure. They were helped in this by continual infringement by the Sharks that was rightly punished by outstanding Referee Kevin Instance.

This meant that for much of the first half Gordano played on the back foot and had to start most of their attacks from deep inside their own half. Breams reward were two well struck penalties.

Gordano turned around 24 - 6 to the good, a scoreline that flattered them for a disjointed first half display. After some honest discussion at the break the second half was a complete contrast, no penalties conceeded and back to the fast and fluid style of play that is their trade mark.

Outstanding work up front from Curtis Southey, Jack Pope, Tom Instance and locks Harry Purnell and Eddie Tovey allowed half backs Lewis Leaker and Sam Ashbee to dictate play with Finn Murphy, Sam Fear, Shay Ford and Ben Beacham relishing the opportunity to move the ball and attack space. The back row trio of Connor Fairclough, Louis Wall and Charlie Gearey always on hand to accept the offloads that kept all their moves flowing.

Tries followed for : Finn Murphy(3), Harrison Topps(2)Sam Ashbee, Lewis Leaker, Charlie Gearey, Louis Wall, Sam Fear, 5 converted by Leaker.

The man of the match accolade goes to Harrison Topps in the centre who whether running through or around the defence was a constant threat with the ball and who in defence repelled everything that came at him.
