1s beat Chosen Hill in a mad afternoon of rugby at Caswell Lane.

Gordano secured themselves western counties rugby next year after a high scoring win against chosen hill. Chosen hill started brightly but gordano's defence was up to the task of keeping them out and with the help of a stiff breeze gordano could clear the lines and quickly turn pressure on the opposition. After 11 minutes gordano scored 2 quick trys through Sam hodge and Tim Statton, both converted by George Chapman. Chosen hill kept their spirits up and got back into the game with a converted try themselves but a quick brace from Royce Chiddle secured a bonus point in the first half. As the half dragged to an end gordano's concentration fell away and chosen hill jumped on this and got 2 trys to end the have only 28-19 down.

Gordano started the second half well with captain Tom arnall leading from the front with a try after only 2 minutes but Chosen hill now had the breeze at their backs and used it well to peg back gordano into their own 22 and scored 2 unanswered trys to close the gap to 2 points. gordano kept thier composure but more importantly kept the ball and where rewarded with 2 trys the first from Sam hodge and the last was Jack Thomas to round off the win. Final score 47-33.

The win confirms gordano's mid table status in Western counties North and will guarantee the squad the highest ever finish for a gordano team in league rugby. Next week is the final game of the season with a derby match away at Clevedon 3pm ko.
