Gordano picked up their first points on the road with a bonus point win at local rivals Old Bristolians. The game started badly for Gordano as old b's were allowed to drive over the line with a maul that seemed to stop on numerous occasions. This did knock the confidence of the Gordano players but soon they were ranking the points up at the other end. Flanker Stuart Harris got the first try and a snipping run from hooker Zane Southey, the second was excellent support play from power House Royce Chiddle and the third try was scored by captain Tom Arnall. All tries Converted by Mike Dyer for a half time lead 5-21.
In the second half gordano now playing up the slope needed to keep control of the game and with Toby baxter bossing the forwards Gordano were able to keep the ball for large periods. As the half wore on old b's tired and Gordano added 2 more tries though wing Jack Last and full back Noah Homes-McAdam.
It was a great team display from all 18 involved, they had believe in what they were trying to do and got the rewards for the hard work they put in.
Next week Gordano are home to old Richians from Gloucester. Ko 3pm.
