On Saturday gordano welcomed old reds to caswell Lane with the intentions to open a gap themselves and the teams just below them them in the league.
Gordano started well and where handed a simple 3 points but it was a well taken try by Noah Homles-McAdam in the 4th minute that got gordano on the front foot. The rest of the first half was a little more cagey with both teams not taking the opportunitys that were in front of them. old reds closed half with a penalty goal for themselves. Ht 8 - 3.
Once again gordano started the half way and a quick tap penalty caused confusion in the old reds defence and went 60meters to score under the posts. Gordano extended their lead with another penalty from hodge but on the hour old reds showed their quality and scored a try of their to close the gap to 18-10. In the last 10 minutes gordano stepped up a gear and looked to pull away. 2 quick trys by jack thomas and Sam hodge gave gordano the game and the bonus points. Old reds got a penalty try to close the gap but replacement james walker showed his freshness when he scored a great try to finish the game. Ft 39-17 another great result for gordano picking up their 8th bonus point win of the season. The mark's Barbers man of the match was second row Ollie Critchley.
