Consistent pressure from Gordano in first 5 minutes of the match resulted in prop Jay Brown coming back on the angle to score to right of posts, converted Connor King 7-0. Wing Isaac Barr broke through with great pace and footwork and converted his own try 14-0. Fly Half Ben Critchley scored next, converted Huw Evans 21-0. Flanker playing centre Pete Atherton then crashed over for the next two, both converted Huw Evans 35-0. Prop Morgan Stockford then rampaged from his own half being tackled but not held three times to regain his feet and then go around the full back and carry enough speed to make it to the line, converted Huw Evans 42-0, at half time.
In the second half Gordano gave away a series of penalties but maintained their discipline and focus and were rewarded with Arron Southey scoring on left wing, 47-0. No 8 Connor Adams then showed great strength and pace to make it over the line, with the final try coming from Ethan Ando playing out of position in the centre carrying three defenders near the line to stretch out and score.
The entire team played with skill, pace and discipline and to keep a clean sheet against an opposition who never gave up and played the game in the right spirit.
