Barracudas U13’s First Match

“So today the mighty Gordano U13 girls joined forces with Nailsea and Backwell in their first proper match against Clevedon. Our girls fitted in really well and played a key role out on the pitch helping the combined team have a win over our closest rivals. Most of the tries were scored by the Nailsea team bar one from Katie, who was handed the ball and sprinted half the pitch to the try line. Sophie was close to getting another for us but was tackled just before the try line. Solid tackles were put in by Chole, Lola and Eloise plus their support play was outstanding, all the girls defiantly gave 100% to the bitter end. Impressive performance by all of our girls, roll on for more great matches like this one.”
