After yet another highly successful tour to Portugal The Sharks held on to the annual memorial trophy played 27 September at Chipping Sodbury Golf Club, with the match finishing level at 3 wins each.

This year for the first time there was the added incentive of a cash prize provided by the players, for the winning team.

However, as the match was drawn the prize money was halved and this will be passed on to the Junior Section the next time I see John Mac.

The next Society Day is being held on Friday 25.10.2013 at Dewstow Golf Club when the annual medal will be played.
