Rugby World Cup 2015 - Priority Community Ticket Access
Under the Rugby Community Ticket Programme, 500,000 tickets for Rugby World Cup 2015 will go on sale to Rugby fans through the English club network and wider Rugby community from May 2014. Gordano RFC has up to 450 tickets across the 48 matches around the country to allocate to up to 150 members. This allocation will be done by a working group to be nominated by the clubs executive committee.
How it works:
Gordano RFC will nominate up to 150 members to purchase tickets through the Rugby Community Ticket programme. These members will be selected by the club in a fair and transparent manner following guidance provided by England Rugby 2015. The selected members will be able to buy tickets from the club’s allocation through the online Rugby World Cup 2015 ticketing system from May 16, 2014.
According to the process stipulated, Gordano RFC must ensure that nominated individuals are:
Tickets will be on sale directly to the individual members not to the club or organisation. Tickets can only be purchased by nominated members for their own use. Tickets cannot be used as part of hospitality, fundraising or commercial programmes as they are intended to directly reward the Rugby community. Members should be aware that these tickets are for the member’s own use and that Gordano RFC will suffer penalties should any allocated tickets be sold on for financial or commercial gain.
Members need to apply by 6pm Tuesday 29th April so the working group can allocate tickets and inform Rugby World Cup 2015 by 6 May.
